Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist whose primary function is to obtain medical radiographs in a hospital setting. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!

You will be responsible for delivering high quality care while obtaining correctly positioned and adequately exposed radiographs and for keeping current with new technology.
You will assist the Radiologist or physician, as necessary.
You will be expected to be competent in transporting patients and assisting in registration of patients.
You will be expected to be competent in processing, copying and releasing of radiology images and CDs.
You may be asked to assist the Radiologist or physician to assist in invasive procedures.
You may be asked to do vital signs, prepare and assist in the administration of contrast media.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be certified by the state of California for Radiography
Must be certified by the state of California for Fluoroscopy
Registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is preferred
Technologists must be current with continuing education requirements
Current American Heart Association BCLS certification
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of asepsis
Ability to identify problems, generate and analyze feasible solutions and choose an optimum course of action
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of teamwork
