- Performs diagnostic medical sonograms in compliance with established protocols.
- Utilizes the services and equipment in the Ultrasound Department according to manufacturers' guidelines and department policy
- Maintains an understanding of laboratory findings in regard to suspected pathology
- Maintains acceptable standards of performance and responsibility pertaining to the Radiology Computer Systems.
Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

Position Summary:
Under the direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Imaging, performs technical duties required in a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound guided invasive procedures. Operates imaging equipment in compliance with manufacture specifications. Follows protocols for Imaging physician ordered exams. Obtains optimum diagnostic imaging of the body to aid in diagnosis or progress of disease. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Documents on Master file jackets and in radiology computer file systems.
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology Program and
Registered by the ARDMS in either abdomen or OB.
2 years’ experience preferred in ultrasound imaging. Certified in Vascular (RVT) preferred
- REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or
Cardiovascular Credentialing International
American Heart Association BLS certification
Must be RVT certified within a year of employment in this position
