POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the coordination of clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. These include, but are not limited to, utilization of skills in organization, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing patient care through the use of hospital and nursing standards.
Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Certification: Maintains and demonstrates competency in BLS** (Basic Life Support), infections control, safety and all unit required skill review.
Required Licensure: Must have a current RN Texas License, Wound Care Certification preferred. Medical surgical, home health, or wound care, also preferred.
Skills: Meets the physical requirements of the job.
** Note – Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
