Position Summary
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Monitor Technician supports the unit by coordinating communications, performing order entry functions, maintaining files, and providing clerical support.
Sign-on bonus doesn't apply to internal applicants
Minimum Education: High school graduate preferred.
Minimum Experience/Skills: Minimum one year of experience in a hospital setting.
License/Certificates/Credentials:
- Certificate of passing Basic Dysrhythmia Interpretation required.
- Certificate of passing 12 Lead EKG interpretation preferred.
- Must also pass DMC annual ECG competency with a minimum of 85%.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged, extensive or considerable sitting. Frequent standing/walking
- Lift/position up to 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force.
- Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
- Manual dexterity and mobility
