General Functions:
- Maintains, operates, tests, inspects, performs preventative maintenance and repairs all types of medical electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam equipment.
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Position Summary
The Biomed Tech maintains, operates, tests, inspects, pms and repairs medical and non-medical equipment. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Associates Degree in Biomedical Electronics or Certificate of training from a Technical School in Biomedical Electronics
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years in Biomedical Electronics repair shop.
