Job Summary:
Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the Outpatient Imaging Centers including scheduling staff, patient safety protocols and direct and indirect patient care. Interviews, trains and evaluates radiology/imaging staff. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Responsibilities: - Supervises, coordinates schedules, interviews, trains and evaluates staff.
- Proficient operation of all imaging sequences, safety and emergency quench procedures.
- Maintains equipment and utilizes protective devices to insure patient and employee safety.
- Organizes work area and maintains supplies.
- Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS.
Qualifications: Education:
• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
Licenses, Certifications:
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
• Current CPR (BCLS) certification
Experience:
• Two years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist with knowledge of neuro, muscular skeletal, breast and vascular imaging.
