Job Summary Per Diem, Rotate
Job Summary:
Operates MRI equipment to perform a variety of imaging MRI procedures as indicated by protocol. Intravenous injections of contrast media as indicated. Prepares RF coils, supplies and equipment for patient needs. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Practices MRI Safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities - Proficient operation of all imaging sequences, safety and emergency quench procedures.
- Organizes work area and maintains supplies.
- Maintains equipment and utilizes protective devices to insure patient and employee safety.
- Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS.
Qualifications Education:
• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists, RT (R)(MR), or
• Graduate of an accredited program for American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with accredited program for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, ARDMS, RT (MR)
Licenses, Certifications:
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – RT (R)(MR) or
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) – ARDMS, RT (MR)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
• Current CPR (BCLS) certification
Experience:
• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
