Job Summary Position Summary
Performs a variety of radiological exams, including trauma and some vascular computed tomographic exams. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment.
Responsibilities - Ability to perform duties of ARRT technologist when not performing CT.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workflow.
- Responsible for some back-up call when necessary.
Qualifications - Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
- Experience: Prior general radiology experience.
- Licensure/Certifications: Currently Certified and Registered in Radiography ARRT, CRT and CPR. Current Arizona CTCT license.
- Special Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
- Supervises: May perform functional supervision over cross-training Radiology Technologists and/or students.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Experience: Two years CT experience.
- Certification/Registrations: Computed Tomography R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT)
