Position Overview The Lead CT/X-Ray Technologist will oversee daily imaging operations, ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic quality, safety, and patient care. This role offers an excellent balance of hands-on clinical work and leadership responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities - Supervise and support radiologic and CT technologists within the imaging department.
- Perform and oversee diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and general radiography.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance and service as needed.
- Develop and train staff, providing mentorship to team members.
- Monitor workflow and scheduling to optimize department efficiency.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and policy development.
Education and Certification Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT certification (R and CT).
- Valid Arizona state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, including CT and X-ray modalities.
- Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
