Job Summary Up to $8000 sign on bonus for new hires only
Under the direction of the Physician performs Radiographic examinations. Assesses patients, assist the Physician in performing fluoroscopic procedures, prepares films for interpretation, maintains patients and departmental records, supplies and equipment.

- Warms x-ray machine following standard protocols and checks for any malfunctions and notifies supervisor
- Respects patient privacy by keeping x-ray door closed except to move patient in and out of room
- Troubleshoots system errors as they arise. Responds to end-user questions and requests for service in a timely and efficient manner
Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up visits
Request and track insurance authorizations for procedures and imaging
Manage clinical inboxes, including reviewing, sorting, and scanning medical documents
Coordinate monthly call schedules and submit required attestations
Complete and manage FMLA and disability paperwork
Manage task “buckets” to ensure timely completion of administrative and clinical duties
Perform patient intake, including documentation of medical history and chief complaints
Assist physicians during afternoon clinics, including exam preparation and room turnover
Prepare injections as directed by the provider
Remove staples and provide post-procedure patient instructions
Fit and educate patients on braces and durable medical equipment (DME); complete associated paperwork
Serve as medical scribe, documenting provider notes for an average of 120 patients per week
Review and respond to patient messages; coordinate prescriptions, physical therapy referrals, and other orders
Coordinate peer-to-peer reviews for surgical procedures and MRI authorizations
Arrange specimen pickup with outside laboratories (e.g., Quest)
Handle service calls during lunch hours or after 5:00 PM when the provider is unavailable
Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Imaging/Radiology program
- Active Florida Radiology Technician/Technologist License required
- ARRT Certification required
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- Strong proficiency in computer-based programs such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to work well with other team members and consultants in remote offices as well as independently.
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a complex, matrix environment
