Job Responsibilities - Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures following physician orders
- Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain optimal radiographic images
- Operate and maintain digital radiography equipment and imaging systems
- Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and safety protocols
- Review images for clarity and diagnostic quality prior to submission to the radiologist
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and care
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any maintenance or calibration needs
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the imaging process
- Follow department policies, regulatory guidelines, and infection control standards
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography (R) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
