What you will do:
A provisional staff member who is training to become a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or is otherwise not currently capable of performing the full array of ultrasound examinations and physiological testing offered by the vascular laboratory. RVT- I is also an appropriate designation for any staff member who is unable to work independently at all assigned locations or shifts.
Qualifications for the Vascular Technologist I position include:
- Education, training, and experience in vascular sonography
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and career long learning (e.g., continuing medical education in vascular technology, obtaining higher education, participation in research, etc.)
- Must be eligible to obtain ARDMS certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for image acquisition and report generation
