Job Summary Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit.
Responsibilities - The Nurse Extern role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for senior professional (RN) nursing students
- Assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in:
- Patient care planning
- Implementation
- Observation
- Evaluation
- Reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications - Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program and upon completion of first clinical rotation
- Licensure/Certification: CPR
