Position: X-Ray Technologist (Contract)
Location: Newark, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: - Shift: Days/Nights (5x7.5-hour shifts)
- Primary Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week
- Float Requirement: Yes – must float to other locations as needed
Compensation: - Pay Rate: $50 – $55/hour (based on experience)
- Weekly Gross Pay: $1,875 – $2,062
- Note: Local candidates are not accepted
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced, adaptable, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of patient care and imaging quality.
Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures following established protocols.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and use of immobilization devices as needed.
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards for accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff for patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Float to other locations and assist as needed.
Required Qualifications: Experience: - Experience in Orthopedic imaging preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Certifications: - ARRT (R) Certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
